Speaking Bookings Terms

This document outlines the terms and conditions ("Terms") governing speaking bookings between Taurea Avant ("Speaker") and your organization/business or event ("Client").

Booking Confirmation:

Upon mutual agreement between Speaker and Client regarding the speaking engagement details, including date, time, location, and compensation, Client shall provide a written confirmation of the booking to Speaker.

Speaker's Responsibilities:

Speaker agrees to deliver the agreed-upon presentation or speech at the designated date, time, and location. Speaker shall conduct themselves in a professional manner and uphold the reputation and integrity of both themselves and the Client.

Compensation:

Client agrees to compensate Speaker in accordance with the terms outlined in the booking agreement. The standard consultation base rate starts at $1000 for one hour. Payment shall be made promptly upon completion of the speaking engagement unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Fees:

Client acknowledges that rescheduling or canceling a confirmed speaking engagement may result in additional fees as previously discussed and agreed upon by both parties. Speaker reserves the right to enforce these fees in accordance with the terms outlined in the booking agreement.

Media Release and Consent:

Speaker hereby grants Client the right to use their name, image, likeness, and recorded content from the speaking engagement for promotional and marketing purposes. Client acknowledges the receipt of this document and the viewing of the terms therein, including the media release and consent.

Right to Publicity:

Speaker acknowledges that Client may use their name, image, and likeness in connection with promotional materials, advertising campaigns, and press releases related to the speaking engagement. Client acknowledges the receipt of this document and the viewing of the terms therein, including the right to publicity clause.

Clearance Clause:

Client warrants that they have obtained all necessary clearances, permissions, and licenses for the use of any third-party content incorporated into the speaking engagement. Client shall indemnify and hold Speaker harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of the unauthorized use of third-party content. Client acknowledges the receipt of this document and the viewing of the terms therein, including the clearance clause.

Termination:

Either party may terminate this agreement upon written notice to the other party in the event of a material breach of the terms herein. Termination shall not relieve either party of any obligations incurred prior to the effective date of termination.
